Personal Bio:
I completed my Pediatric dental residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2011.
I completed my undergraduate studies in my home country Nigeria as well as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree (BDS) in dentistry in 2003.
Why Pediatric dentistry: As a mom myself, I can empathize and relate with parents who want the best dental care for their precious little ones. Working with kids is so much fun, there is never a dull moment in our practice. Mitigating the effects of childhood caries and education on its prevention is key to setting up a child to successfully transition into great oral health as adolescents and young adults. Hobbies: spending time with my family, traveling to exciting new places, watching movies, listening to music and enjoying great food. I have practiced Pediatric dentistry for over 10 years.

As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your child’s teeth and gums and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your child’s smile, we’re also concerned about their health. A review of medical history can help us stay informed of your child’s overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact their dental health.
